Technical Architecture
All systems are designed on IP-based architecture (no analog) using H.265+ compression for storage efficiency. Systems are designed with PoE switching for clean installation, separate VLAN for camera traffic, and encrypted remote access. Storage calculations provide a minimum of 30 days retention at specified resolution.
Security & Backup Approach
Camera and NVR management credentials are hardened (default credentials changed, admin account renamed), firmware updated to latest versions, and remote access configured via Hik-Connect with two-factor authentication. Video data is stored locally with optional cloud backup for critical areas.
